Two EPS friends are 2004 award winners from the
Catholic Press Association for their work in Share The Word
publication, a daily scripture aid published by the Paulist National
Catholic Evangelization Association.
EPS Washington 1999 graduate Connie Neuman,
who is managing editor of the magazine, won first place in the best
feature article category for her article on "Keeping it Real in an
American Prison," printed in the Ordinary Time2, 2003 issue.
Casimir Stroik, EPS faculty, won third place
in the best feature article, prayer and spirituality magazines
division for his article, "Ancient Prayers in Our Day
– The O Antiphons," published in the
Advent 2003 issue.
Published six times
yearly, Share The Word provides daily readings, Sunday reflections,
ScriptureCrostic puzzles and insightful articles on Scripture and
Spirituality.
Thanks to a generous
gift from an anonymous supporter, all EPS students receive Share The
Word.
