Dr. Margaret McCarty was welcomed to EPS CT by staff
and friends with a special cake at the All EPS Day at Assumption
Parish in Westport in late April. Dr. McCarty and her husband, Dr.
Bob McCarty, were on hand to present a workshop, Giving
Ourselves without Losing Ourselves: Balancing Service and Family
Life, which examined the stressors, pitfalls, and challenges
inherent in balancing ministry and family life and identified coping
strategies for when one or both spouses engage in ministry.
