EPS Prayer Ministry
Dear EPS Family and Friends,
Four times a year EPS family members and friends are invited to gather for an hour of prayer – if possible, before the Blessed
Sacrament.
In Washington and Northern Virginia, this Prayer Ministry takes place mid-month in January, April, July and October, in the convent chapel at Trinity University, Washington, DC, and at St. Ann Parish in Arlington, Virginia. Note: Watch this page for the dates for the January prayer service. Download text for October prayer service.
Those who live at a distance from the Prayer Ministry locations are invited to join in prayer from their homes or parish churches, either at the designated times or as their schedules permit. We especially encourage the elderly and homebound to participate from wherever they are. The prayer service is available on the EPS website early in the month so that copies can be printed off.
All are invited to send prayer requests to the Washington office and/or the Prayer Ministry Coordinator for their locale. These are shared among the Coordinators and the Central Office by e-mail, and are put into a "prayer basket," which is placed in the Sanctuary at Trinity as a sign of our communion with one another in faith and prayer.
Volunteer leaders for the EPS Prayer Ministry are always welcome! If you would like to start a group in your local area or help plan a prayer service, please contact:
Burma Hill at 301-772-2689 or burmahill57@aol.com (Washington area)
Mary Ann Pierce at 703-549-2565 or pierce824@comcast.net (Virginia area)
Maria Lemanski at 718-829-7040 or mariacardona@yahoo.com (New York area)
Please pray for those EPS friends and family who have recently died.
