surrounded by spectacular rocks, shoreline, and woods, Eastern Point
Retreat House provides a variety of retreats based on the Jesuit
tradition and the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola.
Scripture-based, Holy Week, private, 7- and 8-day directed retreats,
guided retreats, spiritual direction and private retreats are all
available; all retreats are conducted in an atmosphere of silence.
Just an hour northeast of Boston, Eastern Point is close both to quaint
fishing villages and the attractions of the city.

missions.
Its Franciscan Retreat House offers Senior, family, married couple, and
silent retreats, and weekends of reflection; private retreats for
individuals can also be arranged. Each year over 10,000 guests come to
experience its beauty and solitude.
The Mission was built in 1798; today, it mixes historical charm with the
natural beauty of its 56 acres of landscaped grounds and gardens.

Shalom Prayer Center, located at the Queen of Angels
Monastery in the quiet rural setting of Mt. Angel, Oregon, is
beautifully situated on fifteen acres of gardens, orchards, and woods.
Shalom Prayer Center offers group and private retreats, spiritual
direction, and day- and weekend-long retreats. Upcoming retreats include
The Rule of St. Benedict, Simplicity, Enneagram, Monasticism, Labyrinth,
Scripture and Personal Growth.
Mt. Angel is situated in the Willamette Valley, about 35 miles south of
Portland, near the foothills of the Cascade mountains and the ocean; it
is near Mount Angel Abbey, a monastery and major seminary of Benedictine
Monks.
