Students
EPS students are adults of all ages, economic circumstances and educational backgrounds. While college degrees are not required of students, they should be prepared to complete extensive reading of college level material, participation in the comprehensive question exercise, as well as the art of theological reflection.
Academics
Students take courses in five areas of study: Scripture, theology, Church history, spirituality and pastoral theology. They can track their progress toward the certificate on this student record and prepare for theological reflection exercises using this template.
Cost
It costs EPS $1,500 to educate each student each year. EPS is funded solely through tax-deductible contributions from students, graduates, friends, parishes, dioceses and religious communities, all of whom benefit from EPS. See our financial policy.
